Practicing Gratitude

Hello everyone and happy November! Thanksgiving is one week from today which is oh so exciting. This time of year (and every day) it is important to reflect on all that we have been given in this life and to practice gratefulness. I wanted to list a few of the things on my mind that I am especially thankful for this season. I am thankful for..

  • the opportunities I have been given in my undergraduate years to professionally develop and prepare for post graduation life.
  • the love in my home. Six siblings can be a lot, especially for my amazing parents, but at the end of the day we all know that we are loved and cared for.
  • my cat, Summit. I never knew I could love a little fur ball like him but man oh man I am so grateful to have him to come home to each day.
  • my mind and my body. I am healthy, I am happy, and these two things are often taken for granted or overlooked, but I am in a good place. So I choose to recognize this today.
